We are so happy you are a part of the TMA dance family. Please read through our policies to help us all maintain a wonderful and positive environment and season. If you have any questions please talk to Ms. Jamie directly.
TMA is a family and we support everyone, no matter what. Please refrain from gossiping about another dancer, family member or studio. Showing respect for all students, families and staff is required. Anyone displaying any sort of disrespectful attitude will be asked to leave TMA immediately. Gossip and disrespect is not tolerated!
Ms. Jamie and the TMA faculty will decide the proper placement for each student based on their ability and age. These decisions are thought through very carefully and we will continue to asses your child throughout the year. We want to make sure each child is being challenged while also having fun. If we feel a level change needs to be made, please trust our decisions as we only want what is best for each dancer.
Tuition is processed on the 1st day of every month by auto-payment. This covers your child’s classes for the month and is non-refundable. There is a non-refundable registration fee for new families of $45 and $40 for returning families.
It is important for dancers to be properly dressed for each class. No jewelry
Ballet - black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun
Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary - any colored leotard, crop top (level 4), leggings, or dance shorts with tights, tan jazz shoes, or lyrical shoes, or socks, hair in a ponytail
Hip Hop/Tap/Clogging - form fitting t shirt, tank or crop top, with leggings or dance shorts with tights, sneakers, black tap shoes, white clogging shoes, hair in a ponytail
Cover ups must be worn to and from class. Please do not wear dance shoes outside of the studio!
Classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation at the discretion of the studio director. Tuition for a cancelled class will receive a studio credit.
If your dancer will be missing class, please notify the office by either calling 972-213-1238 or emailing email@example.com If your dancer has an injury and cannot dance, they can still come to class and take notes so they won’t fall behind. A doctor’s note must be presented to Ms. Jamie with clearance from the Dr before your child may return to participating.
Each class will be performing in the recital. Each dance your child is performing will be required to purchase a costume. We strive to keep costume costs low, but they do average around $70. Costume payments are non-refundable
We love for our students to show you how much they have grown and what they have learned at the end of each year with our annual studio recital. In order to help with the cost of the rental of the facility, sound, lights, cleaning, etc. we are requiring each family to pay a non-refundable recital fee of $85.
